WHEN Stockton mum Tessa Humphreys was told she had an incurable brain tumour, her world came crashing down.

Aged 31, she'd gone to A&E suffering from agonising head pains and pressure.

In what she calls "divine intervention" a young doctor ordered a CT scan "just to be safe" and a tumour was confirmed.

Gruelling radiotherapy and chemotherapy followed, plus three brain operations two on Teesside and the third in Birmingham. But alongside conventional medicine, Tessa chose to include a more spiritual path and the combination, she claims, has proved lifesaving.

Now, in the book "A Call To Transcend healing brain cancer through the science and spirituality of self-healing" she's self-published her own story "to get the message out that sometimes you've got to take your own health into your own hands".
