Hooda loyalists dominate Congress list in Haryana

As many as seven of the eight candidates named by the Congress late Thursday night are loyalists of former two-time Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Hooda loyalists dominate Congress list in Haryana

Haryana has 10 Lok Sabha seats and all are currently with the BJP.

The Congress has, however, ignored Shruti Chaudhry, daughter of senior party leader Kiran Chaudhry and daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister Bansi Lal, who does not belong to Hooda camp, from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat. In another big surprise, it has also dropped sitting Hisar MP, Brijendra Singh, son of a tall Jat leader Birender Singh, who had switched sides from BJP to Congress a few days ago.
