The Congress had left the seat for Aam Aadmi Party in a seat sharing adjustment for the polls.

Similarly, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal, his father, wife Sunita and children, Harshita and Pulkit, voted in Civil Lines area of Chandni Chowk constituency, which was left by his party for the Congress under the pact.

While last time Rahul had voted at a polling station in Aurangzeb Lane, this time he accompanied his mother to vote at the Nirman Bhawan polling station. Sonia Gandhi, who stayed away from campaigning for health reasons, arrived wearing shades and posed for a selfie with her son after casting the vote.
