Animal Welfare Board has set guidelines advising the pet lovers or other caregivers to clean up when their pets defecate in open at public places

BMC goes tough, imposes spot fine on pet lovers

Even as Bhopal Municipal continues Corporation slapping spot fines on the pet owners over pet's defecation on roads and public places, there seems to be no end to this practice of open defecation.

Getting tough on dog poop, the team of civic body for last one week has been penalizing the pet owners for letting their pets defecate on roads or public places. The BMC authorities believe that penalties over dog defecation might also raise awareness among the pet owners.
