Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has condemned the AAADMK for its petition in the Supreme Court supporting the Election Commission of India's Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls.

Speaking at a meeting with party booth agents in his Kolathur Assembly —constituency in Chennai, Stalin labelled the move by the AIADMK as “shameful” and a deliberate attempt to undermine the democratic process.

The AIADMK, traditionally a rival to Stalin’ss DMK, has backed the EC’s revision, prompting Stalin to accuse the party of complicity in a potentially flawed exercise.

Stalin, in his address, emphasised the importance of the electoral process in preserving democratic rights. “This time, the responsibility entrusted to our cadre is not only about ensuring the victory of the party, but about protecting the people's right to vote,” he stated.
