Police given 5 more days to quiz 4 held on 'link' to attack

COUNTER-TERROR police have been given more time to quiz four suspects held over Thursday's synagogue rampage in which two innocent men died.

Six people have been arrested over the seven-minute attack in Manchester by Jihad al-Shamie, who was killed by police.

Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, both died during the attack.

Yesterday Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham visited the scene, along with Tory leader Kemi Badenoch.

Last night police confirmed they have been given custody extensions to hold four people for a further five days.
