Adam: It’s crunch time and Warriors are up for some Euro fun

ADAM HASTINGS says Glasgow Warriors will go toe-to-toe with Leinster in their Champions Cup quarter-final clash in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Friday night.

Leinster have lost only once all season and smashed Harlequins 62-0 in Saturday’s last-16 tie with Warriors also ran out big winners against another English side - 43-19 over Leicester - to seal a last-eight spot.

And Scotland fly-half Hastings, left - who returned north from Gloucester last summer - vowed they will travel full of confidence.

He said: “Leinster are a fantastic team. They have put in some statement victories recently with the amount of points they scored.

“But we’re in a good place too. There are still improvements to be made, as there always are. “But we’ve got enough experience in the group now to hopefully go across and put in a pretty good performance.
