Gift of Sports Stadiums to 40 Villages in Lehra Constituency by Punjab Government

Under the Punjab government's efforts to steer the youth of the state away from drugs and connect them with sports, modern sports stadiums are being constructed in villages.

In this series, Cabinet Minister Shri Barinder Kumar Goel has approved 40 sports stadiums for the Lehra constituency. Out of these 40 stadiums, he laid the foundation stone for 15 today. In addition, the initiation of several other development works was also carried out. While interacting with people in various villages, he said that under the "War Against Drugs" campaign launched by the Punjab government, 3,100 sports stadiums are being built across the state, out of which 41 sports stadiums have been allocated to the Lehra constituency in the first phase. He said that today, the foundation stone for a total of 15 sports stadiums was laid.
