No trick, €400k treat for winner

A LUCKY man woke up nearly half-a-million euro richer after the Halloween Lotto draw - but didn't know about it until the next day, when he finally checked the ticket locked in his car.

Thankfully, the player found his golden ticket in plenty of time to claim his €405,711 winnings on the EuroMillions October 31 draw.

The ticket was purchased from Mulhearns Foodstore in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford.
