Cork is hit by long delays for change

HERE on the south coast, in the wonderful city of Cork, we've been waiting a long time for change.

It's a very genteel and conservative place, is Cork. For instance, there's quite a few people here who are not convinced this whole internet thing is going to catch on. Privately, we'll admit it. The worst thing to happen to Cork city since Cromwell was a lad was Irish independence.
