Bristol City handed fine and plan

BRISTOL City have been handed a £7,500 fine and given an action plan regarding fan behaviour at Ashton Gate 48 hours before they host Hull City in the Championship.

The FA charge relates to last season's Severnside derby at Ashton Gate with Cardiff City, when it was alleged the Robins had 'failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters conduct themselves in an orderly fashion' during the contest.
That contest in October finished 1-1 but was marred by derogatory chants about Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan, it was alleged, and following a charge being levelled against the Robins in February, the Ashton Gate club have now been punished.
