FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT, THE POLICE HAVE DETAINED FOUR PERSONS, INCLUDING SECURITY GUARD OF THE VAN AND ITS DRIVER
PATNA: Bihar police busted a three-member gang attempting to rob a cash van of Punjab National Bank (PNB). Two of the accused, custodian guards of the Hitachi Cash Management Service Company (HCMSC), a cash management company, were caught siphoning off money meant for ATM replenishment.
The cash was reportedly stolen from a cash van at Hathua market in Chhapra Town on Friday afternoon.
Following the incident, the police have detained four persons, including security guard of the van, its driver and two of the custodians for interrogation in this case.
