India in semis of both youth and junior categories of IHF Trophy

Hosts India on Sunday hogged the limelight, making it to the semi-finals of both youth and junior categories at the IHF Trophy Men's Youth and Junior Handball (Continental Phase - Asia), notching up contrasting wins, at the newly constructed Atal Bihari Vajpayee Multipurpose Hall at the KD Singh 'Babu' Stadium here.
LUCKNOW:
India's Junior Under-20 team defeated Bangladesh 48-38 with the help of 15 goals by Player of the Match Jaspreet Singh. Marma scored seven goals from Bangladesh. India was ahead 24-16 at half time in the match.
Earlier, India's Youth Under-18 team defeated Kazakhstan 36-35 to make it to the semi-finals. India's youth team played brilliantly against Kazakhstan and displayed a great defense along with excellent wing attack.
