POLICE SAID THE WOMAN HAD FILED A FALSE COMPLAINT OF RAPE AGAINST THE POLITICIAN IN 2022
LUCKNOW: A 45-year-old woman in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh had lodged a police complaint last month alleging she was abducted, gang-raped and shot at by some unidentified men. Investigation by the police, however, revealed that the woman had staged the abduction and implanted a bullet on her shoulder with the help of a "quack" in a bid to falsely implicate a politician and his son, police said on Wednesday.

Centre reviews VB-G RAM-G rollout preparedness
