Despite high alert, man killed in NE Delhi’s 2nd shootout in 24 hrs

Four unknown assailants allegedly shot dead a 32-year-old property dealer just paces from his house on Saturday night in northeast Delhi's Shastri Park area, police said.
This is the second shootout in northeast Delhi within 24 hours, despite the Capital being on high alert ahead of Republic Day.
Police on Sunday identified the victim as Sameer, who was also known as Kammu Pehlwan. The incident took place around 11:15 pm on Saturday.
According to police, he had gone out for a walk after dinner, when, only a few steps away from home in the Buland Masjid area, four men, who arrived on foot, allegedly shot him three times. They immediately fled from the spot.

Centre reviews VB-G RAM-G rollout preparedness
