CM Omar Abdullah Accuses LG Administration of Using Bulldozers to "Malign" Elected Govt

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Lieutenant Governor-led administration, alleging that arbitrary demolitions and unsanctioned bureaucratic actions are part of a "conspiracy" to discredit the newly elected government.

Abdullah's remarks came a day after the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) demolished several structures in Jammu, including the home of a journalist-an action that triggered widespread criticism.

"The officers posted by Raj Bhawan are using bulldozers without the elected government's permission and without informing the concerned minister," Abdullah told reporters in Srinagar, demanding full control over postings of field-level staff.

"This clearly shows an attempt to tarnish the image of the elected government." He said this is precisely why the government has been munity-targeted.
