I'M HUNGRY TO WIN ALL I CAN, SAYS JORGINHO

JORGINHO today said he is hungry to "win as much as I can" with Arsenal after signing a contract extension at Emirates Stadium.

The 32-year-old's deal was due to expire this summer and he has been attracting interest from clubs in Italy.

But Mikel Arteta has made it clear Jorginho is an integral part of his plans, and the midfielder has ended uncertainty over his future by signing what is said to be a "short-term deal".

Jorginho has established himself as a key player in the Arsenal squad since his £12million move from Chelsea in January 2023.

He has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season and has set his sights on adding to his trophy haul, having won the Champions League, Europa League and Club World Cup with Chelsea, as well as Euro 2020 with Italy.

Eric is not the only monster in this grim thriller

ERIC is not the show I thought it would be. All I knew before watching was that it was a six-part thriller about Edgar, a missing nine-year-old boy, and his father Vincent, a puppeteer played by Benedict Cumberbatch, who is followed around by a massive blue and white furry monster called Eric.

The curious case of ever smaller loos on aeroplanes deserves our attention

IT is not just you. Aeroplane toilets really are getting smaller. Some of the great engineering minds of our time appear to have shifted from designing jaw-dropping dams and spectacular suspension bridges to shaving a couple of inches off an already “tight” bathroom.
