JEREMY Hunt has given his strongest hint yet that inheritance tax will soon be slashed or even scrapped.
The Chancellor, inset, labelled the levy as harmful and unfair on hardworking people who want to leave cash to their kids.
His comments, in which he called the tax "pernicious", came as a National Insurance cut from 12% to 10% kicked in yesterday.
