A HOMEOWNER fears his house, which is riddled with a dangerous concrete substitute, is going to collapse on top of him and his partner.
Concerned Colin Witherspoon is facing a £50,000 bill to repair his home, which was built with dangerous reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete, Raac.
The 52-year-old builder was told the devastating news last year and is now terrified houses in his street in Linlithgow, West Lothian, could collapse and kill someone.
Worried Colin said: "This is a disaster waiting to happen as it could collapse in on my partner and I as we sleep.
Pensioners on my street have the same problem and my fear is that it could happen any day and potentially cost someone their life."
