SINGER Celine Dion has been diagnosed with a rare disease that can leave patients as stiff as statues.
Stiff person syndrome causes uncontrollable body spasms and then rigidity.
The incurable condition is affecting the Canadian's ability to walk and perform.
Revealing "problems with my health" on Instagram, Celine, 54, said tearfully: "It's been really difficult for me."
She said of the neurological disease: "While we're still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what's been causing all of the spasms that I've been having.
