FEELING his age, Francis Rossi is taking steps to be as fit as Mick Jagger on stage.
The Rockin' All Over the World singer, 74, has been walking and swimming to get fit for Status Quo's upcoming tour.
He compared himself to energetic Rolling Stones frontman Mick, 80, whose shows are physically demanding like Quo's.
Francis said: "I've been working out a lot and swimming a lot and trying to get fit for the tour. I think there's only myself and Mick Jagger who do that sort of thing, but you do.
"I do workout exercises. I do 40 lengths in the swimming pool, I've been walking and stuff.
"Because one thing with Status Quo is it's physically demanding.
"And it seems weird about music, doesn't it?
