THE tables were turned on cue ace Kyren Wilson after he won the World Snooker Championship.

The Warrior, 32, was basking in the glory of his success at the Crucible when he turned up to play in his local pool league 48 hours later.

But he could not repeat the heroics of his 18-14 victory against Welshman Jak Jones and sensationally lost.

The world No3 snooker star was given a hero's welcome when he returned to the Argyll Club in his home town of Kettering, Northants.

He was determined not to let down The Argyll Hustlers who needed their star player.
