Blast victim’s mum tells of heartbreak & gas firm fury

THE mother of the little girl killed in a house explosion has paid tribute to her “incredible” daughter and accused gas suppliers of “negligence”.

Sahara Salman, four, was killed and three neighbours were injured after a blast which destroyed a terraced house.

Mum Sana Ahmad, 28, said there was a “big bang” at around 7am on Monday and she tried to gather her four children.

She said: “The explosion was so bad that it almost fell like missiles were dropped on the properties. That’s how quickly the building started to fall down.”
