WARRINGTON WOLVES will face an unthinkable relegation fight if they lose to Toulouse tonight – but under-fire coach Daryl Powell will not panic.
The Wire, one of Super League’s biggest and highest-spending sides, have endured an abysmal campaign that has resulted in them spending most of the season near the bottom of the table.
For years, they have tried in vain to secure Grand Final glory that has eluded them, with rival fans regularly goading them about their inability to break their duck after losing four of the showpiece events at Old Trafford since 2012.
But defeat in this match would leave them facing a completely different battle altogether.
Bottom club Toulouse will move within two points of Warrington with victory at the Halliwell Jones with just four rounds of the season to go.
