Bayern's draw at title rivals Leverkusen means it will take huge collapse for Kane not to pe celebrating first trophy

IF Harry Kane is showing off the first medal of his senior career this spring, he may look back on the last few days as the week when it all started to fall into place.

The England captain scored at Celtic Park last Wednesday to give Bayern Munich a one-goal lead to take back to Bavaria for this week's second leg and a superb chance to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.

On Saturday he had a less auspicious day as Bundesliga leaders Munich went 90 minutes without a shot on target but still emerged from the BayArena in Leverkusen with huge smiles.

That was because, having taken a point on the road against their only challengers for the German title, Munich returned home still eight points clear with 12 games to play.
