Coke Kottu Beat Party Sets Colombo Ablaze with Flavour, Music, and Soul

Galle Face turned into a cultural carnival recently as thousands poured in for the Coke Kottu Beat Party-Coca-Cola Sri Lanka's electric celebration of food, rhythm, and youthful energy.

From the sizzle of hotplates of the local favourite kottu to the pounding of drums, the city's seafront was transformed into a bold showcase of Sri Lankan flavour and flair.

This year's Colombo edition followed the sensational success of the events last year, which drew in thousands from across the island. Together, these events continue Coca Cola's mission to blend culture and community through Sri Lanka's beloved street food—Kottu.

From nostalgic classics to cheesy polos, vegan spice twists, and even dessert kottu, the party reimagined kottu for a new generation. Paired with hoppers, BBQ, burgers, fried rice and, of course, ice-cold Coca-Cola, it was a feast that brought the street to the stage.
