David and Victoria Beckham hosted a slew of A-listers to watch star signing Lionel Messi take the field in his first game for Inter Miami.

It was a huge coup for club co-owner David, 48, but New Idea hears the celebrations were marred by the absence of the soccer star’s eldest son, Brooklyn.

'“The day was David’s crowning glory,” says our family insider. “This  Miami team of his has been years in the making, so it’s very odd that his eldest son opted not to be there to support him.”
