Para el joven norteamericano de 30 años de edad (Los Angeles, California, febrero 20 de 1982), este momento de su carrera se trata de seguir creando oportunidades a futuro a través de su participación en distintos filmes.
A finales del año pasado lo vimos en Something from Tiffany´s y antes en Out of the blue, donde compartió créditos con Diane Kruger e interpretó a Connor, un exconvicto cuya vida se ha empantanado debido a su estancia en prisión. Próximamente podremos verlo en al menos dos proyectos cinematográficos más: Borderline y Gonzo Girl. Esta última es la película que marcará el debut de Patricia Arquette como directora y en la cual comparte créditos con la misma Arquette, Willem Dafoe y Camila Morrone.
ESQUIRE: Te hemos visto en distintos proyectos recientemente. ¿Cómo vives la experiencia de hacer películas de diferentes géneros?
RAY NICHOLSON: Sabes, algo que intento hacer de manera constante es canalizar mi energía y continuar descubriendo el amor por lo que hago. Me gusta sumergirme en ello, ya sea viendo películas o aprendiendo del trabajo de otros. Trato de acoger con plenitud la gran maquinaria necesaria para realizar una película, y es algo que trato de hacer con mayor profundidad en cada proyecto en el que participo.
