GUCCI HAS BEEN MAKING WATCHES since 1972. In fact, a Morgan Stanley report puts Gucci’s revenues among the top 25 Swiss watch brands. Even though it has developed iconic products like the Gucci Grip inspired by 1970s skateboarding culture, it never quite had a horological icon.
That is until the recent Watches & Wonders in Geneva earlier this year when Gucci announced the 25H, an ultra-thin sports watch conceived by the brand’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. Inspired by modern architecture’s sleek forms, the Gucci 25H has a multilayered silhouette and an ultra-thin profile. Defined by its clean lines, contrasting finishes and integrated bracelet, it is a significant touchstone in Gucci’s 50 years of watchmaking expertise.
