That’s when my fascination with the past, the history of art, and old paintings began. My childhood was [spent] in the 1980s and ’90s. I remember that at that time in Poland, the streets were grey. I missed having colour and variety around me. I found it all in fashion. I loved looking through fashion magazines, full of colour and crazy shapes. It sparked my imagination and creativity.
