For a lot of people, marrying the love of your life is a new and unique experience.
But for Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling getting hitched isn’t unfamiliar territory, having first “tied the knot” as complete strangers for the smash-hit E4 reality show Married At First Sight UK back in 2021.
Fast-forward two years and a baby daughter later, they are now legally husband and wife after marrying officially in a second gorgeous Christmas wedding at a stunning stately home in Yorkshire.
Luckily, OK! was exclusively invited to share Adam and Tayah’s special day on 28 December, and we can confirm it was nothing short of magical.
“It was such a beautiful day, everything went so amazingly well,” Tayah, 27, agrees post-wedding. “But I think because I held it together during the day, it all hit me later on and I got quite emotional.”
“The wedding was exactly as we wanted it – it was just amazing,” Adam, 28, adds.
Their choice of venue, Carlton Towers, provided the perfect backdrop for a winter wedding with its high ceilings, sweeping staircase and ornate chandeliers.
A host of flickering candles set the scene perfectly, as did an incredibly talented violinist, who played for the guests while they waited for bride Tayah to make her grand entrance.
And what an entrance it was. Tayah looked sensational in an ivory beaded gown that featured a tight-fitting bodice and mini skirt. Her hair was styled in loose curls, and she wore a glittering headband and a veil which was embroidered with ‘Mr & Mrs Aveling 28.12.23’.
