I’m pretty partial to a big scooter. There’s something about going fast in supreme comfort with my shopping tucked safely away beneath that puts a smile on my face. And those in the know will testify that Yamaha’s TMAX is widely regarded as the best in the game (even if it’s no longer the biggest, thanks to Honda’s relatively recently introduced Forza 750).
I’ve actually been desperate to ride the latest version of the TMAX for ages. That’s partly because I was meant to get my hands on Yamaha’s super scooter much earlier this year. But alas, it wasn’t to be – and Mr. Moss ended up with the keys instead, while I got familiar and then sort of fell in love with Honda’s supremely practical (if not exactly thrilling) Honda NT1100.
