TF Sport will contest the full FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time this year and has signed Porsche Carrera Cup champion Charlie Eastwood to complete its driver line-up.
The team will field a single Aston Martin Vantage GTE in the GTE AM category for the full 2018/19 campaign. TF finished second in last year’s European Le Mans Series GT category running Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey, and the pair will now step up to the new WEC programme alongside Eastwood.
Northern Irishman Eastwood, 22, was a karting world champion in his formative years before graduating into car racing. He won last year’s Carrera Cup GB contest during his last year on the Porsche Scholarship programme.
The WEC programme represents TF Sport’s biggest challenge yet. The team made its debut at the Le Mans 24 Hours last season.
