‘Hose pipe not fixed properly’: Inspector of Factories K Prasad said hydrogen sulphide gas leak from hose pipe was not noticed and the two workers who inhaled the gas, and four others who went to their rescue also fell unconscious. He said the hose pipe was not fixed properly by technicians and it caused the leak.
Another Gas Leak In Vizag Claims Two Lives

The situation was brought under control immediately and the unit was shut down.The deceased were identified as shift in-charge Narendra and chemist M Gowri Shankar. Four employees who fell ill were rushed to a private hospital at Gajuwaka where condition of one of them is reported to be serious. The gas leak reportedly occurred between 11.30 pm on Monday and 12 am on Tuesday.
