SOFT play bosses reacted with fury yesterday after an SNP parliament worker publicly called for the “nightmare” industry to “stay closed forever”.
Kat Carey, an admin officer for Highland MSP Emma Roddick, branded the trade “over-priced, disease-ridden” and “wreaking (sic) of p**s” in a scathing tweet which mocked the misery of those who took part in a Holyrood protest this week.
The women’s officer for SNP Edinburgh Central made the remarks at a time when the industry is facing crippling prolonged closures in large parts of the country.
