SIR ROD Stewart led calls for Andy Robertson and his Scotland teammates to “make us proud” in tonight’s clash with England.
Scotland face the Auld Enemy at Wembley and a win would help us reach the knockout stages of a major tournament for the first time.
More than 20,000 members of the Tartan Army have descended on London for the Euro 2020 match.
And its most famous footsoldier Sir Rod Stewart issuing a battle cry.
The veteran rocker said: “I think I can safely speak on behalf of the mighty Tartan Army. Win, lose or draw – just make us proud’.”
The Scotland fan revealed his wife Penny Lancaster, who is a special constable, will be among those policing the Scots fans in London.
He joked: “My wife’s on police duty tonight at Tower Bridge – she’s expecting to see a few kilts.”
Former Scotland star Jim McCalliog, who scored the third goal in the famous 3-2 victory in 1967, urged the team to match that feat.
He said: “I’ll never forget scoring what turned out to be the winning goal for Scotland against England at Wembley.
