ITV has come under fire for having no female hosts fronting any of its game shows.
The channel will air 20 game shows or quizzes between now and next Friday – all of which are presented by men.
These include The Chase’s Bradley Walsh, Tipping Point’s Ben Shephard, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host Jeremy Clarkson and Lingo’s Adil Ray.
Paul Sinha’s TV Showdown and Stephen Mulhern’s Catchphrase also feature in the listings.
Michael Kelpie, managing director of Potato – which makes The Chase – was quizzed about the lack of women hosting game shows in a BAFTA talk this week.
Presenter Charlene White asked him: “Women do like game shows too and there’s not many women.”
