INTEREST rates could be set for their biggest hike in more than three decades, experts warn.
Bank of England chiefs meet this week for crunch talks and it is feared the Monetary Policy Committee will raise rates by 0.75 percentage points to 2.5%.
It would be the highest rate since the 2008 financial crash.
