ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL GMT-MASTER II
It might be known for its methodical approach to new launches, but this year, Rolex surprised many industry watchers with a new Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master Il for left-handers. Such models are also known as destro timepieces, which means right in Italian, and refers to watches worn on the right wrist.
According to the brand, moving the crown and crown guard to the left required some changes to the precision testing process for some final controls carried out as part of its Superlative Chronometer certification. The date display and its magnifying Cyclops lens have also been moved to 9 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock. Also new for the GMT-Master || range is the green and black combination of the Cerachrom bezel insert.
Elsewhere, things are more familiar: The watch is powered by the Calibre 3285, an automatic movement introduced by Rolex in 2018 that is equipped with features such as the brand's robust, energy-efficient Chronergy escapement and optimized blue Parachrom hairspring. Housed in a 40mm steel case, the new GMT-Master II is available on a three-link Oyster or five-link Jubilee bracelet.

ODYSSEUS
At Watches & Wonders, A. Lange & Söhne unveiled a new edition of its Odysseus luxury sport timepiece in titanium. It marks the first time the brand-which usually works with precious metals-is making a titanium watch. Limited to 250 pieces, this novelty features a new ice-blue colour. Exclusive dial details distinguish the titanium model from the others. The hour ring is decorated with circular guilloche grooves that are repeated on the rim of the seconds subdial. It's powered by the L.155.1 Datomatic self-winding movement and comes on a titanium bracelet.
