Homeowner Pamela hadn’t been planning on renovating her kitchen anytime soon but water damage to the backboard behind the sink was the perfect excuse to design the kitchen she’d always dreamed of.
‘I phoned John Heron at Mode German Kitchens and luckily he was able to fit me in the very next day, and it just snowballed from there,’ says Pamela.
Walking into the showroom in Belfast, Pamela was immediately blown away by John’s use of accent lighting to showcase Mode’s designs.
‘Like most families the kitchen is the heart of the home for us,’ she says. ‘It needed to be designed with practicality in mind but also be a room that we wanted to spend time in. I didn’t want it to feel too clinical so lighting was very important to me.’
