The Flower Lady
Ireland's Homes Interiors & Living Magazine
|July/August 2020
This issue we catch up with Laura-Ann Barr to find out more about her new business Little Buds.
-
Married to Christopher and mum to her two sons, Bertie and George, Laura-Ann is well known for her interior style and love of flowers as documented on her popular Instagram account @all.thats.pretty. So it makes sense that this flower lover has ventured into the flower business with Little Buds, supplying life-like faux floral bouquets and houseplants.
‘While I love flowers, one of my boys is not so tolerant due to allergies’ explains Laura-Ann, ‘so rather than filling the house with bunches of fresh cut flowers I started to look for good quality faux ones instead to get my girly flower fix! Plus, as a busy mum of two I no longer had the time needed to maintain fresh flowers and plants around the house, and I knew I wouldn’t be alone.’

Recognising a gap in the market for busy mums like herself who wanted to have their homes accessorised with pretty blooms and foliage, but without the maintenance, Laura-Ann decided to turn her attention to sourcing a selection of good quality faux floral bouquets and house plants that she could share with others.
