Building their own home on an elevated plot meant that Kirsi and Janne Kemppainen designed the interiors to frame and complement its panoramic views, not compete with them

Having built their own home in 2007, Kirsi and Janne Kemppainen craved another project. ‘I found this plot with planning permission, a 45-minute drive from our jobs in Helsinki,’ says Kirsi. ‘It was at the end of a high cliff road and we fell in love with the amazing views.’
