GROCERIES

PEARL BARLEY: Cook following packet instructions to use in salads or great as an alternative to rice to make a pearl barley risotto.

STOCK: Use in sauces and marinades. Alternatively, freeze in ice cube trays and then transfer to an airtight container. Keep for up to 6 months.

COOKING CREAM: Use in sauces, soups or in sweet dishes.

BROAD BEANS: Cook and peel. Throw into salads or try putting on your favourite healthy salad sandwich.

PESTO: Spread a little over a wrap. Top with baby spinach leaves, sliced chargrilled chicken, sliced tomatoes and grated carrot. Roll up and enjoy!

ROASTED RED PEPPERS: Thinly slice and use on pizza toppings or on a toasted sandwich.

JAMAICAN MARINADE: Use to marinate, prawns, chicken or fish.
