Christmas without music is unimaginable.
Happily, though, there’s no prospect of that as TV Times chats to musical maestros Michael Ball and Alfie Boe ahead of their third entertainment extravaganza for ITV – throughout our interview, they delightfully keep bursting into seasonal songs!
Their latest one-off, Ball & Boe: A Very Merry Christmas, is stuffed with playful sketches, music performances and special guests, including Dame Shirley Bassey, actor Luke Evans, and Grammy-winning singer Gregory Porter.
Here, good friends Michael, 57, and Alfie, 46, talk – and sing – us through the highlights!
This is your third special together – you must be excited!
