$146B divorce bogs down over real estate

BICKERING billionaires Bill and Melinda Gates are battling over two luxurious estates, and then some, amid their contentious $146 billion divorce, which isn’t as friendly as they’ve led the public to believe, sources snitched.

Bill is said to prefer living in the couple’s 13,000-square foot, $43 million mansion in Del Mar, Calif., and insiders dished the Microsoft kingpin is willing to give his wife of 27 years their $147.5 million lakeside estate in Medina, Wash. However, the tech titan wants the Evergreen State property, dubbed Xanadu 2.0, to stay in the family, tipsters claimed.

“He wants to keep it for their three children, but Melinda wants to sell it!” a source spilled. “It’s become a major sticking point in their negotiations.”
