Going offbeat with Luv Ranjan’s dark romance Akaash Vani, Nushrat found herself at the crossroads when the critically-acclaimed film failed to garner substantial footfalls. But Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (PKP2) redeemed her once again followed by the blockbuster romcom Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (SKTKS) last year. That the outsider is no fluke has been reiterated by her track record. Her last outing Dream Girl has underlined the value she lends to a film.
