At its heart, Sex and the City was always a show about friendship. ‘They say nothing last forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style,’ Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw once said.

But with tensions between Sarah Jessica, 52, and her former co-star Kim Cattrall, 61, at an all-time high, SATC will now be forever tainted by one of showbiz’s biggest feuds.

While signs of strain have been showing for months, Kim delivered the final blow in a February 10 Instagram message. Heartbroken after the recent and unexpected death of her brother Chris at age 55, Kim lashed out at SJP after she publicly expressed her condolences.

‘Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now,’ Kim replied. ‘So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your “nice girl” persona.’

Needless to say, the world was stunned by Kim’s furious outburst. ‘Wow! What the heck happened between those two?’ one fan asked, while another added, ‘She is probably lashing out due to the sadness she feels.’
