The Ballymohan House is a consummate blend of natural beauty and crafty thinking. The Dublin based design firm ODOS Architects make an innovative addition to an ageing farm house with a plan to transcend time. The new avant-garde box shaped structure, built with simple straight lines and large glazed surfaces, pierces right through the old stone building. Striking a delicate balance between contrasting elements like texture, colour and material, the bold intervention infuses an element of modern-chic into the relic, giving it a fresh start and an entirely new persona.
