This issue of IA&B highlights the important role of structure and form in the fundamental development of architecture. It also includes a new column in which the emphasis is to cover major construction projects encapsulating the builders’, architects’ and structural engineers’ (aec-architecture, engineering and construction) perspective of the project. The project feature includes the vision of the builder, design characteristics as remarked by the architect and technological and engineering aspects which collectively bring about the development of macro level projects which catalyse the progress in the evolving advancement of our cities.
