Since you’re going to be in bright colours and florals (mostly), it’s essential that your sunnies are in sync. Instead of shelling out on matching pairs, walk to the craft store and pick up sequins, beads and ceramic flowers to spruce up your frame.

Beaded fun
Glue gun and a handful of colourful beads are what you need to give your glasses that extra edge. Apply glue evenly along the borders, let it settle, and then randomly drop the beads. You’re sorted.
You can also use pearls and gold beads. Pastel pearls go best with the Gandhi frame.

Thread it up
Take rolls of colored yarn. Apply a coat of glue along the sides of your glass. Take two contrasting colors of your choice and twist it around.

Polka mania
Look nice and pretty in painted polka sunglasses. Take your corrector pen and make tiny dots across your frame. Andddd you’re sun-ready.

Mega-watt sparkle

Glitter is another element that can upgrade your sunnies to a designer store item. Mix healthy proportions of glue and glitter and paint the borders. Don’t be shy with the glitter! The transparent frames will reflect turquoise and red better.

Nail paint magic
Yes, you read it right. Take a bottle of nail paint, preferably mint green or blue, and coat your frames.
